Living Room.

The Living room is where you feel most safe. A warm lively place where everyone retreats, once used for best when visitors came, now it’s the most used space in the house. We live in a society where everything revolves around media, whether it being social networking or television we now fall into a void of nothingness.

What do you do to relax in the living room?

The living room somehow becomes the liveliest part of the house, often with people moving in and out constantly throughout the day. What happens when this is reversed and you walk into a room of stillness where nothing happens. However, look further into the room and you might be able to see that something has happened. Remnants of a previous history are there for all to see.

It is a place where you can be yourself without anybody watching, but what if someone was watching and you never knew. How would that make you feel? The place where everything is happening; sound, TV, conversations…But what happens when you take all that away? When there’s just silence left.

Why is there silence? What kind of silence is it?
